Challenge
Legacy production systems and fragmented data flows limited real-time visibility and made it difficult to scale standardized ways of working across sites and lines. The program also required a careful rollout approach to minimize operational risk while integrating with existing automation and business systems.
Context
A leading global MES and automation provider supported a large process-industry manufacturer in modernizing production execution across multiple lines. TechSeed was engaged as an implementation partner to help ensure a smooth rollout in a complex pulp & paper environment—where deep domain knowledge and robust IT/OT integration are critical.
What we did
TechSeed supported the MES vendor in implementing and rolling out its Manufacturing Execution System (MES) at an end-customer with complex, high-availability production. We contributed with MES delivery experience and process-industry domain expertise—mapping production workflows, integrating IT and OT in real time, and establishing standardized reporting and performance follow-up across lines.
Result
The MES platform enabled improved operational transparency and more consistent performance management through real-time production data. The customer gained better decision support, reduced unplanned downtime over time, and a scalable foundation for continued digitalization of manufacturing operations.
